Engine-side options appeared for the facelifted Hyundai Sonata, which started to meet users based in South Korea.
One of the last members to get its share of the design approach that Hyundai has made a name for recently was the new Sonata. The product range, whose official images were shared a few days ago and which was made up for the 2023 model year, takes the perception of quality to a whole new level compared to its predecessor. Emphasizing that improvements have been made in matters such as material quality and insulation, Hyundai Sonata will be presented to users for the first time as part of the Seoul Motor Show. The South Korean manufacturer also shared the first information about the engines it will offer under the hood, as the organization opens its doors.

Hyundai Sonata will come with three different engine options
Let’s start with a choice that surprises many before Sonata’s engine options. An infrastructure preference that misleads the phrases seen on the vehicles caught on camera during the test process welcomes us. Accordingly, no version of the family will offer four-wheel power transmission. On the engine side, there are three different combinations. At the entry level, the naturally aspirated 2.5-liter gasoline engine will be used. In the N Line version, it was announced that turbo support will be brought to the same engine. Apart from this, the 2.0-liter hybrid engine will also be included in the lists of the Sonata product range. It should be noted that the power and torque values of this engine are not shared for now.
Just like the front, the rear design of the renewed Sonata features a completely changed structure. The slim-LED shaped structure, which we know from Elantra, also dominantly determines the lines in the rear section. In addition, new 19-inch wheels and dual exhaust outlets, exclusive to the N Line package, seem to be quite successful in increasing the effects of the change.
The Hyundai team does not miss to make serious touches in the interior of the vehicle. In the cockpit design, which we also see in the new Kona product range, there is a wide experience with a 12.3-inch driver and a multimedia panel of the same size in a single frame. This panel, which creates a panoramic feeling, is combined with the new steering wheel. The wood-detailed coatings and color options on the seat upholstery offered inside the vehicle also draw attention to increase the premium feeling.
