Energy profit collapses to 56 million euros in 2023 Revenues

(Finance) – Energya company listed on Euronext Growth Milan and active in the offer of integrated energy storage systems, closed 2023 with Revenues from sales equal to 63.3 million euros, compared to 126.5 million euros as of 31 December 2022. TheEBITDA stands at 10.1 million euros, compared to 32.2 million euros as of 31 December 2022, with a margin of 16% compared to 25.4% as of 31 December 2022.Net income stands at 5.6 million euros, compared to 22.6 million euros as of 31 December 2022.
“2023 represented a unique in the history of the company from the foundation. It was a year of economic uncertainty, also dictated by the difficult geopolitical situation at European and global level – declared theCEO Davide Tinazzi – The company was not unprepared and reacted to the shock on demand caused by rates and inflation by investing more in XL-sized storage systems for the Commercial, Industrial and Agrivoltaic segments”.

“The reduction in revenues has not, however, compromised the company’s ability to meet its commitments and continue investments – he added – The 2024 is shaping up to be a year of transition, for the residential market and above all for the new market of Extra-Large products that the company is developing as a first-mover. For this reason, also in light of market developments, the company once again deems it appropriate to continue pursuing the strategic lines already outlined”.

The backlog as at 31 December 2023 it amounted to 3.15 million euros. In continuity with what was observed during the second half of the year, this is a figure that reflects orders received on a smaller number of average days and the accelerated fulfillment activity of the same.

L’Net Financial Debt is equal to -0.2 million euros (cash), compared to 8.2 million euros at 31 December 2022.
