(Telestock) – Swisspower Renewables AG announced that Felix Meier leaves the position after twelve years as CEO. From 1 July 2024 he will be replaced by Lars Hike. Hieke, who has been with Swisspower Renewables AG for ten years, holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Dresden and an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen. During his career, he has held various positions in the fields of energy management, power generation and power grids, most recently as COO for Swisspower Renewables AG.
“Under the leadership of Lars Hieke, the Swisspower Renewables Group is entering a new phase of growth in a challenging and rapidly evolving market. The focus will be on the development and construction of new production facilities in sectors wind power And photovoltaic“, reads a note. “It will also benefit Swisspower Renewables Italya company entirely controlled by Swisspower Renewables AG, operating in the peninsula since 2015 and led by Managing Directors, Gabriele Gatti and Lorenzo Grazietti”, he underlines.
“It has been extraordinarily exciting, challenging and intense to lead Swisspower Renewables AG over the past twelve years, to shape it and to see how the company has developed,” said outgoing CEO Felix Meier. “I am excited to be able to continue contributing to the company’s success in my new role as Senior Consultant. I wish Lars the same enthusiasm in his leadership of the Swisspower Renewables group, with locations in Zug, Berlin, Milan and Padua, and to be able to successfully develop existing and new plants with competent and dedicated employees.”
