(Finance) – Nel 2027, Enel expects to obtain efficiencies equal to approximately 1.5 billion euros compared to the 2022 baseline, increasing the objective by approximately 500 million euros compared to the previous Plan, continuing the optimization of processes and the internalization of external activities. This is what emerges from the Group Strategic Plan 2025-2027.
Furthermore, efficiencies and value creation can also be achieved through innovation and new business models. Specifically, the Group is establishing a NewCo which will have the purpose of consolidate connection assets existing and new ones, both owned and third-party, managing Operation and Maintenance (O&M) and construction activities.
Furthermore, the Group is defining business models to generate value in the fast-growing food sector Data Centersfor which they are expected optimized network connection solutions and integrated renewable energy offerings. The related potential economic benefits are not included in the 2025-2027 Plan.
