“We hope that polysilicon will be included in the list of strategic raw materials to facilitate a rapid energy transition. We also believe important to strengthen the provisions of the Critical Raw Materials Act in defining the requirements of strategic projects and in giving the latter preferential channels in terms of authorizations and adequate financial instruments”, adds the top manager.
In the end, “a coordinated and integrated approach is needed between the issue of decarbonisation and that of raw materialsfocusing on a greater application of the principles of the circular economy throughout the supply chain”, concludes the CEO of Enel.
