End of imams seconded to France: how to continue preaching in the mosques concerned?

End of imams seconded to France how to continue preaching

Since January 1, French mosques can no longer bring in seconded imams, that is to say foreign imams paid by foreign states. For those who are still in the territory, they will lose their status on April 1. This measure was decreed in 2020 by President Macron to limit foreign influences on Islam in France. A measure which only concerns 300 imams, from Algeria, Morocco and Turkey, out of the 2,500 in France, but a measure which remains a challenge to apply for the mosques concerned.
