The two channels C8 and NRJ12 disappeared from March 1, 2025, which leaves room for TNT to change the organization of the channels.
For NRJ12 and C8, it’s the end. As of this Friday, February 28, at midnight, the channels will cease to issue, by decision of the Arcom, the audiovisual gendarme, validated by the Council of State. What will remain in their place? An informative video signal.
SAS NEW COMPANIES NEW DIGITAL and SMR6 televisions are responsible for broadcasting a video signal from March 1 to June 5, 2025, “intended to inform the public, on these two numbers, that modifications will be made, from June 6, 2025, to the numbering of the free digital terrestrial television offer for national vocation”, it is written in the Official Journal. And to add: “It takes on a strictly informative character without promotional scope for the services concerned.”
Eight channels change channels
This video signal will also present “all of the research and memorization operations of new numbers that will have to be carried out from this same date”. Because yes, there are not only two chains that change. LCP-Public Senate and Gulli will replace the two channels on frequencies 8 and 12 of TNT from June 6. Canal+ will no longer be on the 4, which will return to France 4, but on the 14.
Continuous information channels are also moving to put themselves in a row. BFMTV will go from the 15th to the 13, CNEWS takes over Canal 14, LCI on 15, and Franceinfo on the 16. There are thus numbers 18 and 19 of TNT, which will return to the two newcomers: T18, the chain launched by the Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky, and Ouest-France TV. The latter channel will start to issue in September 2025.
