Harte has been in the Netherlands for fifteen years. He speaks the language perfectly and sees himself as a half Dutchman. “With a Dutch driver’s license, but no passport.” With the Irish passport he played with Ireland on two Olympic Games. He saw those participations as a main prize in itself. “I don’t win gold there, hockey in Ireland is too small for that,” he said.
