Employees criticized Elon Musk – got fired

Employees criticized Elon Musk got fired

In a letter, employees of the space company SpaceX demanded changes in the workplace.

Some of the criticism was directed at founder Elon Musk.

At least five people have now been fired.

In the open letter that was spread on the space company SpaceX, a bunch of employees directed real criticism at the management.

One requirement that was made was that the job culture in the company would be more inclusive.

The letter calls Elon Musk a “distraction” and a “trouble” for the company he founded in 2002, writes New York Times.

“SpaceX must be quickly and clearly separated from Elon’s personal brand,” demanded the employees.

Manager: “Forced to sign”

Gwynne Shotwell, chief operating officer at SpaceX, confirms in an email that people behind the letter have been fired, writes New York Times.

Shotwell claims that the letter made employees feel “uncomfortable, threatened and bullied” and that some became angry because they were “pressured to sign something that did not reflect their opinion”.

Exactly how many were allowed to go, SpaceX did not want to comment.

It must be at least five people, writes The Guardian.

Accused of pyramid schemes with cryptocurrency

Another who is dissatisfied with Elon Musk is a certain Keith Johnson who sued the world’s richest man for 258 billion dollars, writes Reuters.

Johnson, who invested in the cryptocurrency Dogecoin, accuses Musk of first encouraging people to invest – then dumping his assets when the value was high and letting the currency fall like a rock. Among other things, by calling the currency a fraud in the TV program “Saturday Night Live”.

“Musk used his pedestal as the world’s richest man to run and manipulate the Dogecoin pyramid scheme for his own gain, exposure and entertainment,” Johnson wrote in the lawsuit, according to Reuters.
