Google shared a new announcement with its official blog post, which includes Unicode 15 emoji additions, animated emojis and more. The announcement is of great importance for Android users, considering that emojis have become a part of communication.
NEW EMOJI ARE COMING FROM GOOGLE
According to the announcement by 9to5google, new Unicode 15 additions will be made to Google’s emoji library. In its blog post, the company showed off the designs of 21 new emojis, including emojis such as hearts in different colors, trembling face, donkey, jellyfish, pea and WiFi.
Google said that these new emojis in Unicode 15 will be added to the library in the coming weeks and will come to Android with updates in December. Pixel devices will probably get this update first.
ANIMATED EMOJI GOODWILL
In addition, Google announced that it will release animated official versions of a series of emojis used on Android for the first time. Although not all emojis are supported, there are about 200 different animated emojis on Google’s website. Some of these animated emojis are already used in the Google Messages app.
In addition to all this, Google reminded users that they can create their own emojis and remind them that they can create remarkable emojis in the ‘Emoji Kitchen’ on the Gboard keyboard.
