The Emmy Awards nominations are announced this Wednesday, July 17, 2024. In the United States, they are broadcast live on the official website of the ceremony at 8:30 a.m. PDT. French time, this means that the announcement of the nominations by the actors Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary) and Tony Hale (Arrested Development) will take place at 5:30 p.m. The announcements will also be broadcast on the Academy’s official social media accounts.
When are the 2024 Emmy Awards?
The next edition of the Emmy Awards will be held on September 15th in the United States. This ceremony, which rewards the best of American television each year, will take place only 8 months after the previous edition. The reason is that the 75th edition was postponed to January due to the strike by actors and writers that paralyzed the industry from May to September, putting projects on hold and preventing the event from being held at the start of the school year as is traditionally the case.
