Emma Ribom has met love.
Following clues on social media, the skiing star now confirms it.
– We have already accumulated quite a lot of hours over video calls, says Ribom to Expressen.
Last ski season was a stable one too Emma Ribom, 25. She left the WC in Planica with three medals in her bag, one of which was gold (in sprint relay). Now her preparations are in full swing for next season.
Ribom’s love
Ribom was earlier in September in Livigno, Italy together with the majority of the Swedish women’s national team. Before that, she trained in Torsby with the American national team. A coincidence? Do not think so.

The 25-year-old has found love among the American cross-country skiers. More specifically, it is about James Clinton “JC” Schoonmaker23. Ribom now confirms that they are a couple.
– It is still quite new. We started meeting in the spring. And we haven’t kept it that secret, she tells Expressen.

Lives in the USA
Schoonmaker has been seen to some extent on Ribom’s social media during the summer, which was thus spent in Sweden together with the US national team.
– It’s an incredibly wonderful group. It has been super fun to hang out with them now that they have been here in Sweden. And it was nice to spend time with “JC” this summer and show off Östersund, she says.

Ribom has previously had a relationship with the national team colleague Marcus Grate, 26, who ended shortly before last season. Now she has found love again, this time on the other side of the Atlantic.
– It’s insanely far from Östersund to Anchorage (where Schoonmaker lives), and right now he’s at home in Alaska. So we have already accumulated quite a few hours over video calls, and there will be more. But it’s going well, says Ribom.
