Kangas managed a push that was enough for bronze on his fourth attempt. Kangas pushed a few times to the same readings, but the attempts were overstepped.
– Of course I’m excited. I don’t know if I have fully understood this. I understand more all the time. A big deal for me, a really big deal, Kangas rejoiced to Urheilu.
Kangas says that the opening push was so good that he started pushing and tried to go far with a hard push. Therefore, after the opening throw, two throws were overstepped.
– Through peace I got the fourth good. And maybe I couldn’t keep my head together after that.
– I’m looking forward to (distributing the reward). There will probably be tears, Kangas smiled.
The fabric record of 16.99 is from July this year from Lohja. Kangas is known as a spear trainer Hannu Kankaan daughter.
Holland’s Alida Van Daalen achieved the European championship by far with a result of 18.32. of Great Britain Serena Vincent took silver with his record 16.93.
