During the summer, Emil Forsberg made a move from Germany to the USA – as a result of his leaving RB Leipzig for the American New York Redbulls.
After the move, his then-wife, Shanga, broke the news that the couple would be divorcing. The news was shared on Shanga’s Instagram and the text that published, among other things, the following:
“We are separating. And I never thought I would utter after two children and 19 years together. Words that still feel unreal. I have loved you more than anything and always supported you. But even love has its limits.”
The couple have two daughters together, Siena and Florence.

The former couple is in the middle of a house sale – the house up for sale is their luxury villa in their hometown of Sundsvall.
