There were six Swedish points when Pittsburgh beat Philadelphia at home with 7-6 in the night’s NHL round.
The star Sidney Crosby made it 1-1 barely ten minutes into the first period after an assist by Richard Rakell and the team went to the period break with 2–1 after that Marcus Pettersson helped Bryan Rust to find the net.

In the second period stood Emil Bemström, who made his debut in Pittsburgh, for a hit. The match was even until the end, but the home team was finally able to win after three goals in the final act, including one by Rakell and another assist from Pettersson.
Two other Swedes who excelled on the night of Monday were Nashville’s Philip Forsberg and Gustav Nyquist who delivered the goal and assist and goal, respectively, in the team’s 4–2 away win against Anaheim.
