Ukraine has imposed emergency power cuts in large parts of the country on Sunday, following Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.

The blackouts apply to all but three counties in Ukraine, following Saturday’s robot attacks on energy facilities. At least 19 people were injured in the attacks.

The power outages affect both industries and households, according to the energy operator Ukrenergo.

In recent weeks, Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy grid have forced the country’s leadership to implement blackouts around the country.

After Saturday’s attacks, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for increased arms supplies from the West, saying “total protection of Ukrainian skies must become the norm.”
