“It feels as if the care in Värmland is about to collapse,” they write in the letter, according to the newspaper.
They describe an exodus of staff from the hospital, which is one of Värmland’s three emergency hospitals, and that there is now a shortage of staff “at all levels”; doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, X-ray nurses, biomedical analysts and service staff.
“You feel resigned to the fact that they are destroying an entire business and not listening to us,” says a nurse who wishes to remain anonymous to NWT.
