The emergency ordinance was introduced by Mayor Sjors Fröhlich of Vijfheerenlanden and applies until 10 a.m. on Monday morning. The municipality states that there were several reasons for establishing this triangle (mayor, police and public prosecutor). For example, there is a protected chat group in the municipality that calls for “large-scale disturbances” in the vicinity of the asylum seekers’ center.
