Emak revenues grow by 106 in the 1st half Slowdown

(Finance) – The group Emaklisted on Euronext STAR Milan and active in the outdoor power equipment, pumps and water jetting sectors, in the first half of 2022 consolidated revenues equal to 368.2 million euros, compared to 333 million euros in the same period of the previous year, an increase of 10.6%. The increase derives from the organic growth for 7.7%, the effect of translation exchange rates for 2.2% and the change in the consolidation area for 0.7%.

L’Adjusted EBITDA was equal to 54 million euros (14.7% of revenues) compared to 53.7 million in the same period of 2021 (16.1% of revenues). The group was affected by the increase in the costs of raw materials and the increase in costs for services, in particular energy and transport. L’Consolidated net profit was 31.7 million euros, compared to 31.6 million in the first half of 2021.

There Net financial position liabilities amounted to 192.8 million euros (154.4 million net of the IFRS16 effect), compared to 125.2 million at 30 June 2021 and 144.3 million at 31 December 2021.

With regard to the outlook, the management considers realistic the forecast of reaching, at the end of the year, a level of sales higher than the values ​​achieved in the past, despite the expected slowdown in the second half. The Group “will give priority to the correct management of costs and invested capitalin order to maximize the creation of value and maintain its solidity, which forms the basis for long-term sustainability “, reads the note on the accounts.
