But that way the maximum number of visitors per day is violated, says objector Kees Koolmees of Stichting Behoud de Eemvallei. “The zoning plan prescribes that concerts may be held, 40 per year with a maximum of 5000 visitors per day. So you can hold three events per day, but then you have to divide 5000 by three. And then they are now holding two concerts of each on Sunday 5,000 men, that’s 10,000: that’s double.” The Conservation Foundation for the Eemvallei has therefore submitted an enforcement request to the municipality.
