Elvenes after irritated finish: “Clear knee tackle”

Lucas Elvenes was booed in the Saab Arena.
Then he sends a pass to Linköping’s supporters.
Apparently you have to lie down and howl for as long as possible for the audience to think it was an ugly one, says the shooting king to TV4.

Leksand bounced back properly after the embarrassing 1-8 overrun that Växjö offered this weekend.

Bortais was waiting again, now in Linköping.

Smack, smack, smack off in turn Max Veronneau, Marek Hrivik and Oskar Lang – and Leksand was 3-0 already 10.25 into the opening period. That lead was not relinquished.

The three points, via 5–2 in the end, took Leksand past Linköping and up to fourth place in the table after 34 games played.

Was booed out

At the end of the match, a situation occurred that really stirred up the emotions in the Saab Arena. Leksand’s top scorer Lucas Elvenes went on a tough tackle from Linköping’s Anthony Greco, who was awarded a match penalty.

After the incident in the middle of the third period, there was an angry mood among the home crowd, who booed Elvenes when he was involved in the play.

– Apparently, just because you get up and want to fight on even though it hurt like shit, you’re a fucking jerk and all. But I don’t care what they say, explained Lucas Elvenes to TV4 before summing up:

– It’s a clear knee tackle, it’s really lucky that it hits the right spot. Apparently, you have to lie down and howl for as long as possible for the audience to think it was an ugly tackle. But I lined up because I was lucky it hit the right spot, so it’s a win. It feels extra nice after that.
