Elton stops: after 10 years he clears his place at the ARD hit who knows something like that
Nobody really expected this message. As DWDL recently announced, TV moderator Elton will not continue his role in the guided team from who knows that something. Since the beginning of the show 10 years ago, he was one of the team captains alongside Bernhard Hoëcker and ensured a good mood in the audience. He will soon have his last appearance: On Saturday, April 26th, it will be a farewell

Elton speaks to his surprising exit: “The decision is anything but easy for me”according to the entertainer compared to DWDL. He recognizes that countless celebrities have been a guest and that the show always provided fun and entertainment. It was a huge honor for him to be there. He thanks Kai Pflaume and colleague Berhard Hoëcker.
The farewell is very emotional for the 53-year-old: “Now I’m saying goodbye – with a crying and a laughing eye.” After 10 years it was difficult for him to leave the team behind. In the same train, Elton also provides the reason for his exit. He just needs more free time, as he admits openly. He wanted “More time for [s]a family and friends and everything for [s]I have.”

ARD entertainment manager Andreas Gerling shows to DWDL how grateful he is for Elton’s participation in the quiz show.
