Entrepreneur Elon Musk, who also runs the car manufacturer Tesla and the space company SpaceX, bought the microblog Twitter for 44 billion dollars last October. He began his ownership by firing the entire board and appointing himself the new CEO.
Now he announces Elon Musk announces that he has found a successor as CEO of Twitter.

On his Twitter account, he writes that he has “hired a new CEO for X/Twitter. She starts in six weeks!”. However, it is not clear in the post who the new CEO is.
He also writes that he will remain in the company management in a chairman role alongside the new CEO, and oversee technology and product development.
Elon Musk already announced in December that he will step down as CEO of Twitter as soon as he finds a replacement, but it was not clear at the time who would succeed him.
