20-year-old Elliott from Skellefteå has now been missing for two weeks.
A mobile connection on the evening of November 28 is the last trace of him.
– The case is still highly topical with us, we need to get more tips to move forward, says Johann Kristiansson, police inspector in Skellefteå.
Two weeks have passed since anyone last saw 20-year-old Elliott. He left his workplace in Skellefteå on the afternoon of November 28 and most likely got into his car, a dark gray Volvo S80.
At 21.21 his phone was “pinged” to a mast in the Jävre area. Since then it has been closed and no one has looked after him or the car.
– The case is still highly topical with us, but we have nothing to go on, we need to get more tips to move forward, says Johann Kristiansson, police inspector in Skellefteå.
Last Friday, a police helicopter was finally able to take off after several days of stormy weather in the area.
But that hasn’t paid off either.
– We are waiting for some new information that may come in today or tomorrow, says Kristiansson.
The mother pleads: Let me know if you saw the car
Elliott’s relatives are also now appealing to inform the police of sightings.
– If you were out driving in the blizzard after 9 p.m. on November 28, you might have seen something. If you were run over by a Volvo or remember something to locate which direction he was going, says mother Anna Larsson.
Missing People has continued its search in recent days and is now using the method of exclusion to get closer to an answer about the whereabouts of the car or Elliott.
– This is a very difficult matter. We now need to start ticking off areas we have been in and contacted both taxi companies and plow trucks. In the coming days or towards the end of the week, we will start searching some watercourses as well, says Martin Persson at Missing People.
If you have seen Elliott or know anything about his disappearance, call the police on 114 14.
