On Tuesday 28 November, 20-year-old Elliott was last seen in Skellefteå after he left work in the afternoon. Then he traveled in a dark gray Volvo S80 of the year 2005 model, northwards in the blizzard, according to the police.
On Friday, Elliott was reported missing by his parents, after not being seen for several days.
The police and the organization Missing People have been searching for Elliott for the past few days, but so far to no avail.
Last track
His mobile was “pinned” in the Jävre area north of Skellefteå on Tuesday evening. Since then it has been shut down. There the tracks end.
The police have searched the area around his last position with the help of a helicopter, without finding any traces.
According to the police, there is no indication that a crime has been committed, but a report of kidnapping has been filed. It should give the police more tools in the search for Elliott.
– It is not because there is any concrete suspicion. But we have drawn up a report to be able to retrieve information about the positioning from the masts, says Johann Kristiansson, police inspector in Skellefteå.
– Now we will go through that information, he continues.
The family is appealing for help
Elliott’s family themselves have issued an appeal on social media and are appealing for the public’s help. TV4 Nyheterna has been in contact with the mother, who gave her approval for the picture of Elliott to be published.
– We need help finding the car to understand what happened to him, says Elliott’s mother to TV4 Nyheterna.
– He has never been away before. It is a mystery to all of us.
There is still no trace of Elliott’s car, which has been wanted for more than a week.
Police are seeking observations
The police are looking for sightings of Elliott and the car he was traveling in, and are going out with signal elements on him.
“He is 186 cm tall and has short, light hair,” the police write on their website.
– We are in great need of tips from the public, says Johann Kristiansson.
The police write that the observations are not limited to Skellefteå and Västerbotten, but also apply outside the county border.
People who have information about the disappearance are asked to call the police on telephone number 114 14 or alternatively leave a tip via the police’s website, polisen.se.
