She interprets Jonathan Johansson’s “Summer clothes” in Saturday’s “So much better”.
An interpretation that Ellen Krauss dedicates to her girl.
– She is the best and for me it is about her now, says the artist.
Ellen Krauss is one of the artists in this year’s edition of “So much better”. So far, we have seen her interpret Lasse Holm’s “Nothing stops us now” and Mapei’s “Swim”, and in Saturday’s episode we see her do yet another interpretation. This time by Jonathan Johansson’s song “Summer clothes”.
Jonathan explains what the song is about.
– It’s simply about those moments when you’re with the one you love and nothing else matters, and that’s all it’s about. It’s that simple, he says.
– “Summer clothes” was written in a quarter of an hour. I was newly married and I just wanted to write about happy love, he continues.
Earlier in “So much better”, Jonathan told how it happened when he met the woman who would become his wife during a holiday in Sicily.
Ellen Krauss makes an interpretation about her girlfriend
For Ellen, the song is also about love, but her interpretation is about her girlfriend.
– Now I’m together in a way I’ve never been before, with an awesome girl. She’s the best and for me it’s about her now, says Ellen about her version of “Summer Clothes”, which has been titled “Doesn’t Matter”.
– I sing about wanting to impress her, throw in things like I know the DJ and stuff like that, and in the middle of it all I think that it probably doesn’t really matter. She probably won’t notice that I have two different socks or if my hair is in front of or behind my ears. Hopefully she thinks about bigger things than that, she continues.
