What an incredible achievement of Ella Halvarsson To win the World Cup silver in her very first biathlon World Cup. There were really many Swedes who were impressed by the 25-year-old’s incredible efforts at Tuesday’s distance race.
Halvarsson shot completely flawlessly on 20 shots and salvaged the very first championship medal of the career. She cried tears of happiness in the target area and has been greatly hailed for the past 24 hours.

After the brilliant World Cup silver, the Swede held a thank-you speech for the entire biathlon team and her words to the teammates became very emotional. When Ella showed her great gratitude to everyone who helped her reach this milestone in her career.

– I would like to extend a big thank you to the team. Without you, this would not have been possible, you have helped with sparring, with laughter and a lot of knowledge about things that have been new to me.
