Elis, 13, is passionate about flea market items – that’s how you make a bargain

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

After Elis Moodh, 13, was part of Sweden’s sweep earlier this year, comments and tributes poured in on social media.

Therefore, our reporter Victoria Scott together with photographer Dan Norrå decided to go to western Sweden to hang out with Elis at the auction and hear more about his burning interest.

Which started after he collected may flowers in 2017 and has been growing ever since. When we last spoke to him, Elis had managed to amass a substantial design collection by visiting various flea markets.

Now he takes Victoria on a tour and gives his best advice on how to think about making a bargain.

He looks for various details to figure out what is worth buying or not. In the report, he buys a lamp for SEK 800, which he says is worth between SEK 3,000-4,000 if it is genuine.

– Very special, never experienced anything like it, says an antiques dealer about Eli’s skills.
