Utrecht – “When I walk through the characteristic entrance, I immediately have the feeling of coming home,” says Martin Turksma. Martin was in charge at Elinkwijk for years. “I played here from the age of six until I was 34.” In between, at the age of 17, he left his beloved Elinkwijk for two seasons for the youth academy of PSV and that of Ajax. “After that I could go to Willem II and NAC, but I chose to go back to Elinkwijk.”
