Elina Lampela exceeded 460, which is a record of the hallways and a domestic leader in the winter. That was enough in the race to the fourth.
Pole vault Elina Lampela found a good mood for the European General of the European Championships next week in Clermont Ferrand, France.
– It was a good performance, but this was a good, little hunger. I would have liked to jump 470 and now I know I could do it 100. I’m in good shape, and it was good that the last race before the European Championships was not perfect, Lampela said in a sports federation release.
Lampela exceeded 435 and 450 with his first attempt. 460 went to the third, after which Lampela tried three times about his record 470.
– I am pleased that 450 went first. Now it starts to feel like it’s an easy height. The first of the 460 attempts I made with a smaller seam, the second I changed the bigger one, and the distance was too close, but for the third company everything hit it, Lampela said.
– The first of the 470 companies was the best. It rose sharply on the bar. I am pleased that I now got five jumps and collected data at what distances I have now jumping.
Lampela has been in a steady condition in this winter’s competitions. He went 455 in two races and won the Finnish Championships in Kuortane with 450 crossing.
Clarmont-Ferrand’s competition won Switzerland Angelica Moser With 476.
