Elica BoD proposes dividend increase to 007 euro per share

(Finance) – The board of directors Of Propellera company listed on Euronext STAR Milan and active in the production of kitchen hoods and hobs, has proposed a dividend up 16.5% to 0.07 euro per share, and allocation of the remainder to the extraordinary reserve.

Taking into account the fact that the 2021 ordinary payment took place in October 2022, the company has proposed the detachment date of coupon no. (10) on 3 July 2023, the record date on 4 July 2023 and the payment date on 5 July 2023.

The board also has approved the consolidated results as at 31 December 2022confirming the preliminary results released on 14 February.

“Over the last two years, we have doubled our margins and cash generation, despite the uncertain macroeconomic scenario, inflationary pressures and a still critical geopolitical context – commented the CEO Giulio Cocci – We have fulfilled all the promises made: from the execution of strategic projects; to the growth of the Elica brand and the Engine Division, to the strengthening of margins: our net result in 2022 grew by 37%, allowing us to honor a further commitment made by proposing a dividend up by 16.5% compared to last year”.

“The 2023 will be a two-speed year: an even more challenging first half of the second half of 2022 with a sharply declining demand and a recovering H2 – he added – but the flexibility of our new production footprint in Europe, the expansion of the Cooking range through new product lines together with opportunities that come from the Engines Division, increasingly a protagonist in the energy transition process, will allow us to face this challenge with confidence”.
