Elias Pettersson tops the Swedish scoring league in the NHL after the dream start to the season

A 25-year-old left-handed shooter from Sundsvall is the best Swedish scorer so far this season in the NHL. But it is even at the top and with fewer games played, both second and third can soon close in on the leader.

The Swedish scoring league in the NHL is currently led by the Vancouvers Elias Pettersson who with his ten goals and 22 assists collected 32 points.

In second place in the points table is Toronto’s William Nylander. He has, with three fewer games played than Pettersson, scored twelve goals and lands with his 17 assists for a total of 29 points.

Nashville’s Philip Forsberg took a step closer to second place in the scoring league when, in the game against Buffalo on Monday night, he scored his 13th goal of the season. Along with his 15 assists, he has now collected a total of 28 points in the 24 games he has played.
