The fraud warnings have been replaced lately. Last week, the Swedish Medicines Agency went out and warned of scam ads, aimed at the sick and the elderly, and on Monday the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority flagged for fraudsters, in telephone calls and e-mails, pretending to be them.
Common to the fraud attempts is that, by using government names, they gain confidence in unsuspecting recipients and thereby can come across sensitive information or even money.
