Based on five themes, Bosmans and Hoedemaker try to teach the children something about the animals in the zoo: birth, playing, eating, pooping and sleeping. Hoedemaker gives an example of what many may not know: “A giraffe naturally has a long neck at birth, it slowly slides outwards and then it hits the ground. At that moment it makes a sliding somersault while hanging from its mother.”
