Electronic Arts removes Russian teams from its games
If the world of sport began to sanction Russia following the aggression of Ukraine already 7 days ago, the video game is also going on the offensive. And it is Electronic Arts which is the first to take a stand in this conflict by announcing the withdrawal of all Russian teams from its FIFA 22 and NHL 22 games, starting today through an update. A message that was posted on the various social networks of the American company, which does not hesitate to show its support for the Ukrainian people and calls for peace so that this war ends as soon as possible. Electronic Arts specifies that this boycott of Russia in its games was done in agreement with FIFA and UEFA who also support the movement.

EA Sports stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and like many voices in the football world, calls for peace and an end to the invasion of Ukraine. In agreement with our partners at FIFA and UEFA, EA Sports has decided to remove the Russian national team and Russian clubs from all EA Sports FIFA products, including FIFA 22, FIFA Mobile and FIFA Online.
