An unmissable event at E3 every year, EA Play Live will not take place this year. It was our American colleagues from IGN.com who got the information from Electronic Arts. during an interview devoted to the publisher’s next line-up. The conditions are obviously not sufficiently met to reveal all the Electronic Arts projects on a single date, preferring to cancel the event and thus distill the announcements when the opportune moment comes. Some will say that E3 is a show in decline and rumors of a new online edition (while gamescom and the Tokyo Game Show will be in person) have undoubtedly weighed in the balance. However, we also note that since isolated and online speeches via short and sometimes dedicated formats have exploded, the way of communicating is no longer really the same. The latest example is the 20-minute Dead Space Remake audio design stream released just a few days ago. Still, if more and more publishers are deserting E3 this year, what will remain of this high mass of video games?
