S is waiting for news about nuclear power
S is waiting for news about nuclear power
The Social Democrats will not announce, yet, how they view government support for nuclear power or the future of nuclear power, announced Magdalena Andersson (S) in Ekot’s Saturday interview.
Andersson emphasizes that S will not be able to put its foot down on government support for new nuclear power until a better analysis of how much nuclear power is needed in a future energy mix has been done.
– There has been no such thorough analysis of how to achieve a good mix of energy in the future as well, says the S leader to Ekot.
She thinks that the analysis the government has previously presented is too one-sided, the government should have calculated the need for different types of energy before recommending a large expansion of nuclear power.
She says that S is working on his own analysis.

Judges are suspected of having fallen asleep – goals may be retaken
A judge at the Örebro district court is suspected of having fallen asleep in the middle of a trial. Now the whole goal must be rethought, reports Nerikes Allehanda.
The two men who stood accused during the main hearing were later sentenced to four years in prison for serious weapons offences.
“The chairman continued to sit slumped over with his eyes closed during parts of the main hearing and appeared to be very tired,” writes one of the men’s lawyers to the Göta Court of Appeal, according to NA.
According to the lawyer, there must have been complete silence at one point when the prosecutor turned to the judge.
The judge himself calls this “an infamous lie”.
According to the Göta Court of Appeal, it is not possible to establish whether the judge fell asleep or not, but that the judge “in any case was inattentive during such a time and in such a way that it has broken the court’s judgment”.
