Electricity prices rise in the north

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

In the two northernmost electricity price areas, the whole of Norrland, the electricity price on Tuesday lands at SEK 1:75 per kilowatt hour, up from SEK 1:09 on Monday. In southern Sweden, electricity areas 3 and 4, the price is almost constant at just over two kroner/kWh.

It is still a historically high price, but significantly lower than the four kroner or higher that was common for most of December in the southern half of the country.

On top of the market price, electricity tax and VAT plus network fee are added.
