One of Destination Gotland’s ferries, the ship Visby, which should have arrived at Nynäshamn on Sunday morning, was several hours delayed as they could not dock due to a technical error. There are around 800 passengers on board. – We have an electrical fault that affects the monitoring on board which we are trying to fix, says Marcus Risberg, CEO of Destination Gotland to TV4 Nyheterna, but believes that there is no danger for the passengers. – This is nothing that affects maritime safety and I have no information that there would be panic on the ship. Then there is surely someone who is frustrated. But we’re treating everyone to lunch right now. Shortly after 1 pm in the afternoon, the ship was able to enter Nynäshamn. However, due to the delay, the return trip back to Gotland is cancelled.
