Train traffic is at a standstill on the routes Stockholm-Gothenburg, Stockholm-Malmö and Stockholm-Linköping, among others, due to an electrical fault, SJ announces.
The problems started just before 6 p.m. and the error means that the commuter trains between Södertälje and Gnesta are also at a standstill.
Even two hours later, there is no forecast for when the traffic can start.
An accident in Årstaberg also contributes to delays in commuter train traffic in the northbound direction, SL tells SVT.
