Opposition politicians demand the Venezuelan president to agree to a peaceful transition of power.

In Venezuela, opposition demonstrators have again protested across the country against the president Nicolás Maduro against the contested election victory. Reported about it including the BBC.

Leader of the Opposition María Corina Machado joined thousands of protesters in the capital, Caracas. Machado had been in hiding after being accused of attempting a coup after presidential elections in late July.

Machado vowed that the protests will not end until President Maduro relinquishes power and concedes opposition politics of Edmundo Gonzales victory. Gonzales contacted the demonstration from an unspecified location and demanded a peaceful transition of power from Maduro.

President Maduro sent the police and army into the streets in response to the protests.

The EU, the United States and several South American countries have not accepted the result of the presidential election in Venezuela.
