Elected officials call for government action for working-class neighborhoods

The fight against the tiger mosquito in France

The mayors of cities and suburbs do not feel listened to enough. Starting this Monday, a delegation is going to the Élysée to deliver the Lyon Appeal to the Head of State. Six years after Grigny’s call, local elected officials launched on October 18, 2023 in the Lyon metropolis, a new call to act for working-class neighborhoods.

After the Grigny Appeal in 2017, around thirty elected officials launched the Lyon Appeal to find ways for residents of priority neighborhoods in the city.
