According to the police, the man is said to have gone on the attack with some form of attachment in a residence in Olofström last Saturday.
– The woman was injured and had to be taken by ambulance to hospital, says Robert Loeffel, police spokesperson.
The 65-year-old man is now wanted in custody on suspicion of aggravated assault.
According to the police, the two involved must have some kind of relationship with each other from before.
