The alarm about the apartment fire on the eleventh floor of the high-rise came just before 6 p.m.
The emergency services were able to quickly gain control of the fire and managed to prevent further spread. But the elderly woman’s life could not be saved.
The other residents of the house could return to their apartments later in the evening and night.
No other person was injured. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
