A woman in her 90s has died after a house fire in Ovanåker, Gävleborg county.
Police and emergency services were alerted at 5.30 on Thursday morning. When the police arrived at the scene, the fire was already fully developed.
Smoke divers entered the building and found the woman who was taken by ambulance to hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
– We are not investigating it as an arson attack, but as a public-dangerous devastation. It is not clear what caused the fire yet, says Magnus Jansson Klarin, press spokesperson at police region Mitt.
