The police were alerted by relatives to a residence at 1 pm on Wednesday.
– We received an alarm that we needed to go and see where this couple was, says Sophia Jiglind, press spokesperson at the police.
Two deceased people were found at the scene. The police state that it is a couple and both are described as elderly. The next of kin have been informed and have been questioned by the police.
– We have chosen to start a preliminary investigation into murder due to the fact that there are a number of unclear circumstances, says Sophia Jiglind, press spokesperson at the police.
The bodies have been sent to the Forensic Medicine Agency and will be autopsied and the police have made a technical investigation of the scene.
There are currently no suspects in the case.
