Elden Ring Patch 1.12.3 Released

For PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms Elden Ring patch 1.12.3 This latest patch brings a variety of bug fixes and performance optimizations for PC and PS5 users, along with PvP-specific and general balancing adjustments.

Elden Ring Patch 1.12.3 Released on All Platforms

Elden Ring PvP players will notice that the damage and damage animation of the slash vacuum effect of the “Swift Slash” skill have been reduced in the new patch. As for general balancing changes, the intelligence scaling for the Carian Sorcery Blade has been increased, but its base damage has been nerfed. Additionally, the attack range for the Smithscript Dagger and Smithscript Circus has been increased. The base layout for the rematches against the Golden Hippopotamus and Commander Gaius bosses has been changed to be the same as the first fight.

FromSoftware has reported that PS5 users can use the “Rebuild Database” tool from the console’s safe mode menu to improve Elden Ring’s unstable performance. For PC players, some users may have unintentionally enabled ray tracing, which could be a cause of the unstable frame rate. Ray tracing is a rendering technique that can significantly impact performance. Players can improve performance by adjusting the ‘Ray Tracing Quality’ via ‘System’ and ‘Graphics Settings’. Lowering or disabling the quality may provide a better gaming experience.

The PC version of Elden Ring may also experience performance issues due to third-party applications, such as mouse implementation issues that FromSoftware previously addressed. Players should close these applications when running the game to achieve better performance. Additionally, an issue where players would receive the message “inappropriate activity detected” without cheating has been addressed.
