The beta test of FromSoftware’s new game Elden Ring Nightreign will be held on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms in February 2025.
Hand Ring Nightreignis an independent cooperative action role-playing game set in the Elden Ring universe, developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game will take place in a procedurally generated version of Limgrave and will require teams of three players to prepare for the final boss battle over the course of three in-game days. At the end of each game day, players will need to defeat a sub-boss to progress, and the playing field will narrow like in battle royale games.
Elden Ring Nightreign Beta Testing and Registration Process
Bandai Namco announced that Elden Ring Nightreign’s beta test will be held in February 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms. Players who want to participate in the beta test will be able to register on the game’s official website as of January 10, 2025. The testing will be organized to conduct technical verifications of the game’s online systems and to perform large-scale network load tests.
Elden Ring Nightreign will be released in 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms. The director of the game is Junya Ishizaki, who has previously worked on Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring projects. Unlike Elden Ring co-creators Hidetaka Miyazaki and George RR Martin, George RR Martin has no input on the story or direction of Nightreign.
Elden Ring Nightreign aims to offer players a new cooperative experience in the Elden Ring universe. The beta test, which will be held in February, will be an important opportunity for players to experience the game in advance and give feedback to the developers. More information about the release date and other details of the full version of the game is expected to be shared in the coming months.
