Elden Ring: Bloody Streams Location

In Elden Ring, you can find the Bloody Streams katana to build powerful builds. You can find out from us where this weapon was found and how you can get the mystical sword.

Update, April 12: The headline and the teaser text have been reworded.

The Bloody Streams sword is one of the best katanas in the game. If you put together a sophisticated Dex/Arcane build, you can deal massive damage with the Bloody Streams as long as the enemies are made of flesh and blood.

The katana also has a solid ranking in our current weapon tier list for Elden Ring and if you haven’t tried the sword yet, you should definitely do so.

Bloody Streams is at least equivalent to the equally great Monveil Katana. It is the linchpin in a meta build:

But if you take a wrong turn, you could miss the katana completely. It will only be available to you again late in New Game+. This way you can find it in time and avoid this problem.

Elden Ring: Bloody Streams Location – This is where you have to look

Where can I find the weapon? You will only find the Bloody Streams katana in the late game, in the Mountain Peaks of the Giants region. You only reach this region after you have fought your way through the capital Leyndell.

You can find the katana in the Church of Tranquility. There you will be attacked by the NPC intruder Okina, who will immediately use this powerful blade. If you kill in you will get both Bloody Streams and a mask, which complements the sword very well.

If you follow the lead of Grace on the Mountain Peak of the Giants, you will come close to where the Katana was found: the Church of Tranquility. But don’t go too far east!

The Church of Tranquility is located on the map not far from the elevator that takes you to the mountains. But to get to where the katana was found, you have to walk a long way.

  • First follow Grace’s lead northeast to a frozen lake.
  • Walk south along the lake until you reach the First Church of Marika.
  • From there you walk west to the guard garrison.
  • Further south you walk over an oversized chain to the relevant part of the region.
  • Here you continue riding towards the southwest, where you will find the Church of Peace.
  • However, it is important that you do not wander further east and possibly miss the church. Because if you continue the story there, you will ensure that you can no longer get the Katana Bloody Streams in this playthrough.

You Can Miss Bloody Rivers – Here’s How to Get It Safely

Here’s how to miss Bloody Rivers: The Giants’ Forge is located just east of the Church of Tranquility. Before that, the fire giant is waiting for you as a boss. If you defeat the Fire Giant and continue the story at the Giant Forge, all Okina-like invasions will be disabled for the rest of the story.

This means that after the fire giant you can miss the katana completely until you get back to the mountaintop of the giants in New Game+ or with a new character.

Very nasty: The chain bridge that leads to the fire giant is practically right next to where Bloody Streams were found. So if you want to use the katana, you should make absolutely sure that you defeat Okina before the fire giant. This is how you grab the sword before it’s too late.

This is how you find Bloody Streams, the bloodiest katana in Elden Ring. Are you already using the sword? If so, what is your build? Do you think the weapon is stronger than other top weapons? Do you think this weapon is overpowered? Let us know in the comments.
