According to the acting head of social affairs in Eksjö municipality, the deficiencies that have come to light are something that is already being worked on.

One explanation for the fact that there are still shortcomings that IVO now points to, despite the municipality being aware of several problems, is that many measures require political decisions. That’s what the chairman of the social committee in Eksjö says.
– We have now decided on more training. Among other things, training in care Swedish, which will start soon, says Markus Kyllenbeck (M), chairman of the social welfare committee.
In addition to nursing Swedish, training is also held around palliative care and assistant nurse training. The municipality will also review procedures for documentation.
